Artist's Description

Two Black Gentelmen sitting outside the store passing time as a line of storms threaten to move in anytime. The place is Melrose, Louisiana, around 1940. In those days, this would have been the highlight of the day. Melrose is just north of Alexandria. The store is quaint and reminsicent of my days growing up in that area.
