The train crew is anxious to make Salida a hub for railroad action. This passengers aboard the train are headed for destinations during the Christmas holidays. Soon, they'll be with friends and relatives for the holiday season. It may have been slower than today's jets, but it was more magic during those times than jets have ever been. I know.
