"For centuries the battle has raged. The sentinels still stand. In the end, the rain prevails and we become saddened at the downfall of the mighty." Having lived near here for decades, it was inevitable I would have to render such a scene. Though this has a fantasy feel, believe me that it does look just like this many times each summer. The storms and lighting are dramatic. Notice I said lighting, not lightning.
