Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This one was one heavy lifter. Second, only to the 747s of the time. We flew this all over the world and it was a joy. I'd have to say that Douglas airplanes appealed to me the most. This aircraft is called a -40. The reason being that Northwest at the time wanted to boast in advertising they had the latest heavy jets. The only thing that made them different from the -30s were the Pratt and Whitney engines that NWA always insisted upon. You can tell a -40 from a -30 by the bulbous air intake on the center engine which is clearly depicted in this drawing. The -30s went straight back in comparison.
