Artist's Description

It's late afternoon sometime in the 1940s. A more powerful time on the railroads never existed. Three medium weight steamers are taking turns taking on coal, water and sand. Canada geese wing their way south looking for a flock to join up for the move south. Swallows enjoy the insects being lifted by the onrushing cold front. So Railroady I can't stand to look at it myself.
