Artist's Description
The engineer and conductor compare time pieces so that they both expect to arrive at the same place at the same time. Amazing how that works. On the other hand, this is a digital painting of a scene that was actually rarely witnessed by lesser mortals. In their day, trainmen, were the astronauts of the day. The men were dwarfed by the machines the operated through nearly every town in America at one time. This image is of those times when trains still had an aura about them.
