Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. "Even old soldiers have a time to admit it is over." The old switch engine donated to the museum by Coors Brewing, in Golden. In fact the museum shares a track or did with Coors at one time. The engine is presently in line for maintenance as its paint fades.
