Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The king of all airliners, the Boeing 727. More hours flown in these than just about anything. This was penciled in in the mid 1990s after spending a couple of years flying these. Man, could they make sweet landings if you knew how. The original is NOT for sale, but an old pilot friend might persuade me to let go of it.
