"Raw power comes in many forms but the strongest power is that of belief." On the way to Salt Lake late in the afternoon. A summer image with thunderstorms brewing in the background. Another 60 miles and the Zephyr will be flat out across the Utah Desert. The sun will be going down. It was the last of the non-Amtrak trains. It lasted until 1983 which was about 12 years longer than any other "name" train.
